Obituary of Gregory Scott Keller

Gregory Scott Keller passed on January 18, 2023 in Valdese, North Carolina. Born in Long Beach California on April 24, 1958 to James Keller and Suzanne Hollar. Gregory retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he worked as a signalman for many years, he spent his free time playing cards with friends, watching college football and basketball, he also enjoyed traveling and spending special time with friends at the American Legion Post 280 in Chesapeake Virginia. Gregory also loved his dogs and was a true brother to his fellow union members on the railroad but his greatest joy in life was doting on his wife, whom he loved with all his heart. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; James Keller and Suzanne Hollar. He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Glenda Keller of Chesapeake, Virginia; step-daughters, Sarah and her husband, Adam Wenzel-King of Charlotte, North Carolina; Rachel Laney and Rebecca Laney both of Boone; step-granddaughter, Luna Martinez of Boone; step-grandson, Michael Wenzel-King of Boone; sister, Diane Bead Robinson of Rockford, Illinois. The family will hold a private memorial service in honor of Gregory at a later date.
