I worked in the office with Della, she was such a sweet and caring friend whom I loved and respected. Had not seen her since the passing of her husband, Jim but I never forgot and will never forget her and look foward to seeing her again one day when we reach home! I am praying for you all.

Mama Della had her hands full with me and Stephanie thru high school…allowing us to have sleep overs on school nights and having to break the news that “no, it did NOT snow enough to cancel school” the next morning! Her heart and motherly love will be deeply missed. The Critchers are a valued second family to me and I pray for each of you daily! Love you all!

Aunt Della was a true servant of the church and her Lord. I remember staying in Boone as a youngster and enjoying being spoiled by Aunt Della. She was the last connection to the "Shull Family" of four girls and two boys, one of the boys was my dad Rufus. May she rest in peace.

My condolence in the death of Della to all the family and friends. I remember her fondly from TRW where I worked many years and remember seeing her at other places after she left there. I remember her sister Ruybe and niece Gwyn, whom I went to school with. To all I am sorry for your loss. Prayers, Donna Johnson Hicks

Dear Critcher family, I know that on November 5th Della ran into those pearly gates and greeted Jim and Jesus with open arms. Heaven is so much sweeter and gives us another reason to be excited to go there. Being her “across the creek” neighbor was such a joy and she and Jim are so missed. Love and hugs.

I hate that I do not have a more recent picture with Aunt Della but we will miss her so dearly. She always welcomed me with open arms when I wanted to come visit my Boone family in the summers. And I always made it a point to come see her when she’d come visit with my Nanny. They were two peas in a pod and I know she missed her so much. We love you all, and are with you in spirit ❤️ her picture is perfect, her smile was so contagious

Dear family, I am so sorry for your loss! We know Della is home now, I can see her rejoicing at the throne of Jesus. She always reminded me that church and life is about Christ and him crucified, nothing else mattered! I will miss my friend but I will see her again!
