I was very surprised to learn that Lonny passed over a year ago. He befriended my late husband Fred when he was in classes at Cumberland, and for several years thereafter. Lonny and Fred used to chat about law, politics, music, food, travel, and so much more. We had visited Lonny in Key West when his sons were small and they delighted in playing at the beach. Fred always admired Lonny's musical abilities and hoped he might one day visit us up North in NJ or in Sag Harbor. Lonny's gentle voice belied the ferocity he could bring to arguing a legal battle, starting before he completed his degree. May his family and friends cherish his memory.
