I remember the day Uncle Gerry took a ride up to Durham for a visit. The tide was right so he and George took Daydreamer (14 foot wooden sail boat) out to Oyster River. Now mind you this boat has no motor. They sailed up to Little Bay and made it back in time before the tide went out. They had a great day. Little did I think that he would catch the sailing bug and live and sail around the world. What great adventures he had

One of my favorite memories of Uncle Gerry: One beautiful April day, I was at home, standing with my friends just outside our door Uncle Gerry came around the corner, beaming a smile from ear-to-ear. He hadn't been in Massachusetts for several years and he said that he just "wanted to see the beautiful New England Spring." A day or two later we had a blizzard. Thank you, Uncle Gerry, for some fun memories.
