I was privileged to have Professor Larson as swimming coach for gym class at VU during the 1962 fall semester. At the time, the school's gym was being remodelled, so we met at the YMCA downtown, which wasn't convenient for freshmen who were not allowed to have cars. Professor Larson was a very kind, and pleasant individual.
