Miss Gladys White, age 76, of Robin Lane, Boone, passed away Saturday morning, June 10th at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born June 1, 1941 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Minnie Mae Ferguson White. Gladys was a member of the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church and was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Gladys is survived by her sisters, Joyce Davis of Auburn Hills, Michigan and Lillian White of Boone. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert White and Russell White, three sisters, Virginia McAllister and Edith and Evelyn White; and brother, Steve White.
Memorial services for Gladys White will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, June 13th at 1 o�clock at the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Mathis. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon until 1 o�clock.
