On May 17, 2017, at his home in Blowing Rock, N.C., Donald P Fischer accepted his final earthly assignment: flight instructor to the heavenly angels. Don bids farewell to his wife, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and old and new friends. He wants to especially thank his Hospice earth angels who helped to prepare him and his family for his final journey. Services will be private.
