Billie Jean Grimes Reagan, 84, of Kingston, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016. She was born on May 26, 1932 in Cookeville, TN.
Known as Meemaw to family and friends alike, she made the world a more beautiful and happier place by tending to her flower gardens, baking and personally delivering delicious goodies to many in the community (what she called cooking out of her mind). She also spent numerous hours loving on and rocking her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by; three daughters, Judy Bensey of Kingston,TN, Joyce Nall of Kingston,TN Jennifer Burnett of Flowery Branch, GA.; two sons, Joel Reagan of Daphne, AL and Jason Reagan of Boone, N.C.; two sons-in-law, Earl Nall of Kingston,TN and Ray Burnett of Flowery Branch, GA.; two daughters-in-law, Andrea Reagan of Daphne, AL and Stacy Reagan of Boone, NC; 11 grandchildren: Todd Carriger of Kingston, TN; Paula Fross of Harriman,TN; Jeremy Carriger of Maryville,TN; Emily Evans Phillips of Karns, TN; Sara Nall Fowler of Alpharetta, GA; Addison and Kelsey Reagan of Daphne, AL; Tyler and Corey Burnett of Flowery Branch, GA; Justin and Shelby Reagan of Boone, NC, numerous great grandchildren and brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Pat Grimes, of Cookeville, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Erskine Reagan and her daughter, Janie Reagan Monroe.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date when the flowers bloom, as Meemaw wanted.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Roane County Animal Shelter or the Kingston Public Library.
