Obituary of Harold G. Moody

Mr. Harold Gray Moody, age 63 of John Cornett Road, Vilas, passed away Friday, September 30. Born June 4, 1953 in Avery County, he was the son of Bertha Moody. Harold was a member of Mountain Dale Baptist Church. He had worked at Blue Ridge Shoe and Charleston Forge. He is survived by his mother, Bertha Moody, one aunt, Madge Cornett, a number of consins, and many friends. Funeral services for Harold Moody will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 oclock at the Mountain Dale Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Cornett. The family will receive friends from 1 oclock until 2 oclock prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
