Anna Marie Triplett Earp, age 47, of Dewitt Barnett Road, Banner Elk, the Valle Crucis community, died Thursday morning, September 11, 2008 at Watauga Medical Center. Born September 26, 1960, she was a daughter of Tony Cline Triplett and Anna Bell Richards.
Mrs. Earp was a homemaker and a member of Vilas Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Cecil Carroll Earp; five children, Anna Sue Brown and husband Gary of Valle Crucis, Daniel Carroll Earp of the home, Patricia Anna Earp of Valle Crucis, April Lee Earp and Christopher Daniel Earp, both of the home, her grandson, Richard Brown of Valle Crucis, her mother, Anna Bell Richards of Bethel and her father, Tony Cline Triplett of Boone, her maternal grandmother, Bunnie Richards of Newland and her paternal grandmother, Virginia James of High Point, three sisters, Patricia Annette Berry and husband Steve of Foscoe, Lisa Triplett and Melinda Bell Ward and husband Shawn , all of Vilas, and one brother, Charles Arnett of Sugar Grove. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Payden Brown, a brother, Anthony Triplett, her maternal grandfather, Russell Richards and her paternal grandfather, Cline Triplett.
Funeral services for Anna Marie Triplett Earp will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Vilas Valley Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Dan Church and Rev. Randy Harmon. Burial will follow at the Jont Brown Cemetery.
Flowers are appreciated or donations to assist with funeral expenses may be made to the Earp family.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 PM at Austin & Barnes.
