Obituary of John Buck Sudderth

Mr. John Wesley Buck Sudderth, age 67, of Laurel Lane, Blowing Rock, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home. Born November 13, 1948, he was a son of the late James Alexander and Beulah Wooten Sudderth. Mr. Sudderth was a graduate of the Patterson School in Lenoir, and Caldwell Community College. Buck was retired from Dixie Fire & Safety where he worked as a mechanical engineer building fire trucks. He was a former member of the Blowing Rock Volunteer Fire Department. Buck also enjoyed building and working on computers, cars and fishing. He is survived by two sisters, Jane Eberle of Blowing Rock and Sharon Sudderth of Los Angles, California, one brother, Jerry Sudderth and wife Alicia of Sparta, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Services for Buck Sudderth will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blowing Rock Fire & Rescue, PO Box 47, Blowing Rock, NC 28605.
