Louise Dunn Deal, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Blowing Rock, North Carolina passed away April 12, 2016 at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
She was born on December 1, 1942 in Caldwell County to Zollie and Leola Triplett Dunn.
Louise is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas C. Deal; brother-in-law, Blake (Becky) Deal, Larry (Sharon) Minton; sister-in-law, Shirley Deal; nephews, John (Kelly) Deal, Matthew (Christie) Minton, Barret (Lauren) Deal; nieces, Rebecca Minton and Tiffany (Jason) Shumate.
Louise was an educator of 33 years, retiring in 1996. During her career she was an elementary teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal, and director of Elementary Education in St. Lucie County, Florida.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Blowing Rock Methodist Church, P.O. Box 352, Blowing Rock, NC 28605,Indian River State College, 3209 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 or to the donors choice.
Visitation will be at Austin Barnes Funeral Home in Boone, North Carolina on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1-2 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM with Dr. Hal Warlick officiating. Interment will be in Boone Mount Lawn Cemetery.
