Obituary of James L. Coffey

James Fredrick Coffey, aged 86, of Banner Elk, NC passed away in peace on Sunday April, 10th, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jimmie Coffey, his first wife Ozalene and second wife Mary Alice, sisters Muriel, Evelyn and Helen and brother Herman. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday April 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Monte Vista cemetery in Johnson City, TN. The family plans to have a gathering for anyone in the community to join in remembrance of James at his home in Banner Elk; hopefully in May.
The family would wishes to extend special thanks to Robert and Felicia Ruppard of Banner Elk and Ethan Anderson of Linville for their gracious love and care of James and to Austin and Barnes Funeral Home for their advice and support through this difficult time.
