Obituary of Betty L. Denney

Betty L. Denney, age 82, of Mabel School Road, the Zionville community, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She retired from TRW/IRC after 20 plus years of employment. Betty was a member of Zionville Baptist Church for the past 45 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Denney, and a daughter, Phyllis Denney.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Denney; a son, Kenney and wife Dena Denney of Cary; a daughter, Kaye Denney of Zionville; two sisters, Rachel Powers of Glade Spring, Va., and Jackie Taylor of Green Cove, Va. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Zionville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, October 17, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home.
