Obituary of Faye Isaacs

Faye Isaacs, age 80, of Charlie Thompson Road, Vilas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 17, 2015 at her home. Ethel Faye Isaacs was born June 27, 1934 in the Vanderpool community of Watauga County to Ulius Gray �Jay� and Mary Alice Hicks Isaacs. Faye was a charter member of the Vanderpool Baptist Church. Mrs. Isaacs was a homemaker who loved preparing meals for her family, especially the grandchildren, and enjoyed scrap booking and sewing. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 62 years, Edd Isaacs; and five children, Bill Isaacs, Keith Isaacs and wife, Betty Ann, and Steve Isaacs and wife, Millie, all of Vilas, Randy Isaacs and wife, Debby, of Bethel, and Amy Ritch and companion, Robbie Ray, of Dallas, NC. Ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Jackie Isaacs; infant daughter, Betty Sue Isaacs; sister, Martha Isaacs Jones; and nephew, Jerry Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, June 19, at 2 o�clock at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Andy Watson and Rev. Thomas Brown. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 until 2 o�clock, one hour prior to services, at Austin & Barnes. Graveside services will follow at the Swift Cemetery.
