Obituary of Linda C. Mullis

Linda Cole Mullis, 59, of Old Salisbury Road, Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. Born April 21, 1955 in Ashe Co., she was a daughter of Onnie and Lela Greer Cole. Linda was a generous lady who always put others needs before her own. She loved spending time with family and friends, and delighted in reading books, writing poetry, and various craft painting. Surviving are two sisters, Gladys Norris and husband, Doug, of Boone, and Juanita Gallagher and husband, Tim, of Clemmons; niece, Devon Gallagher, of Charlotte; nephews, Scott Norris and wife, Kristina, and Steven Norris, and wife, Miranda, all of Boone, and Shaun Norris and wife, Maggie, of Erwin, TN; great-nieces and great-nephew, Hannah Grace and Cole Norris, of Boone, and Adrianna Richardson and Abagail Norris, of Erwin, TN; and uncles, Otis Greer and wife Beulah, of West Jefferson, and Earl Cole of Oxford, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 23, at 2 PM, at the Austin and Barnes Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mike Townsend. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 until 2 PM, prior to services, at Austin & Barnes. Burial will follow in Hopewell Community Cemetery.
