Obituary of Judy A. Greene

Judy Faye Anderson Greene, age 68, of Collettsville, passed away Monday, March l6, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Judy was born in Watauga County to the late Bynum and Lucy Hayes Anderson. She was a homemaker, a member of Mulvale Baptist Church, past president of the Collettsville PTA, leader of Caldwell County 4-H, Collettsville Homemaker Club, Collettsville Ruritan Club, and founded the Caldwell County Scleroderma Support Group. She enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking and learning about her family history. Her last few years, she focused on spreading Gods word by mailing inspirational cards to the community.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, J. B. Greene; daughter, Esther Osborne and husband, Joseph, of Collettsville, and Carol Woodlief and husband, Marty, and granddaughter, Monica, all of Wake Forest; and brother, J.C. Anderson and wife, Betty, of Abington, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ella Mae Trivette, Geneva Bentley and Verlee Cole; and brother, Bill Anderson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2015, at 3 oclock at Mulvale Baptist Church, with Pastor Bryan Smith, Rev. Burl Greer and Minister J.C. Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 2 until 3 oclock, prior to services, at the church. Burial will follow in the Greene Family Cemetery.
