Obituary of Anglea D. Lehman

Mrs. Angela Ditzler Lehman, beloved wife of John T. Lehman, of Eureka Hills Circle, Boone, passed away Friday evening October 3, 2014 at her home. She was 69 years old. Born March 21, 1945 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Harold Edward and Martha Smith Ditzler. Angela was a Registered Nurse who worked at Life Care Center of Banner Elk. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of the Hill Country Catholic Church. Angela was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her incredible generosity of spirit, kindness, love, and patience was felt by all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her husband John Thomas Lehman, one son, Jonathan Lehman and wife Anna, two grandchildren; Thomas and Emma Lehman, seven sisters, and one brother, Margaret Zumbo, Benedict Ditzler, Madeline Small, Anita Klunk, Marie Saghy, Mildred Thomassy, Mary Clabaugh and Joan Kuhn. Memorial services for Mrs. Angela Ditzler Lehman will be conducted Saturday morning November 15, 2014 at 10:30 at St. Elizabeth of the Hill Country Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Dave Brzoska and Rev. Jeff Smith. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
