Obituary of Anne M. Dunlap

Anne M. Dunlap, 92 of Lincroft, passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2014. Anne was born in Boone, North Carolina, lived in Shrewsbury and was a long-time resident of Lincroft, NJ. She was a member of the Luther Memorial Evangelical Church, in Tinton Falls, the O.E.S. in Long Branch, and the Altar Guild of Church. Anne was also a volunteer at the CPC Quilting in Red Bank; an avid bridge player and gardener and enjoyed playing tennis at the Shrewsbury Racquet Club. She was employed at Fort Monmouth as a Lab Technician and retired from there after 20 years of service. Anne is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mabel Moretz, and her brothers, Kenneth Moretz and Mark Moretz. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Robert (Bob); her daughter, Barbara Dunlap of Connecticut; her brothers, Bernard Moretz, Ernest Moretz and Robert Moretz and her sisters, Elsie Carter and Wilma Ragan Simpson, all of North Carolina. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 27th between 1 and 4 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 28th at 9:30 a.m. at Luther Memorial Evangelical Church, Tinton Falls. Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem. in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations to the Luther Memorial Evangelical Church, 818 Tinton Avenue, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724.
