Miles Lewis Cashwell, Jr. passed away May 17, 2023. Born March 17, 1970, in Sampson County, North Carolina to Miles Lewis and Ivy Patricia Coble Cashwell, he was the son they had prayed and waited for. As a younger brother to Germaine (Johnson) and Camille (Campbell), Miles became the focus of their attention; spoiling, protecting, and doting on him. As they grew older, Miles followed both his sisters Auburn University. Miles was a 1992 graduate of Auburn. To say he was an avid Auburn fan is an understatement. He named everything he owned with an association to The University. His first pet was Bo (Bo Jackson), His original Facebook name was AUtitude. Every Auburn fan dreams of attending a football game where Auburn defeats Alabama and the above picture is Miles "living the dream" at Toomer's Corner after seeing Auburn do just that. Miles touched many people throughout his short life, leaving each one feeling attended to. He most recently developed a love for classic cars and truly enjoyed showing off his own classics. He had a wicked sense of humor, and there was never a Trivial Pursuit game he did not win. The man never forgot a fact that he read or heard. Miles is survived by his mother, sisters, and several nieces and nephews. But even more he is survived by a family of friends who loved and supported him. The family would like to especially thank those who remained in contact with him from Auburn and those who supported him in the most recent years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Auburngiving.org/Cashwellmemorial Godspeed and War Eagle!
