Obituary of John Ward

John Robert Ward passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 at his home in Vilas, North Carolina. He was born on April 20, 1946 in Newland, North Carolina to John Ward and Tinnie Ester Harmon Ward. John was an avid collector of antiques and primarily focused on clocks, radios and cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Ward and Tina Harmon Ward; brother, James Leonard Ward; nephew, John Leonard Harmon. He is survived by his brothers, William Smith Ward and his wife, Deaema, Daniel Ward and his wife Clara; sisters, Jane Harmon and her husband, Lee, Mary Sue Rose and her husband, Richard, Lizzy Stanley and her late husband, Bill; Numerous nieces and nephews.
