Obituary of Nancy Ensminger

Nancy Love Ensminger, 76, passed away on April 23, 2023, in Ft. Pierce, Florida. She was born on June 1, 1946, the only child of Howard and Addie Mae Love. She attended Bethel Elementary and graduated from Bethel High School in Bethel, NC. Nancy was a very generous person who enjoyed doing for others. Baking her delicious food and desserts for family, friends, and community was one of her favorite things to do. Her servant's heart delighted in assisting others by providing transportation to doctor appointments, hospital visits, shopping trips, or wherever their needs may take her. She was always ready and willing to accommodate. Nancy is survived by her children, Nannette Lennitt of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Franklin (Renee) Ensminger of Boone. Grandchildren, Rebecca and Evan Lennitt of Lake Worth, Florida, Hope Soloman and Samantha Ensminger of Boone, Preston (Skye) York and great-grandchildren, Karcen and Ruby York of North Wilkesboro, numerous cousins and loyal friend, Terry Main, of Ft. Pierce, Florida. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ensminger of Boone, and parents, Howard and Addie Mae Love of Bethel. A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery on Friday, May 12 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Burl Greer officiating. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the United Ostomy Association of America (www.ostomy.org).
