Obituary of Terry Lee Henson

Terry Lee Henson, age 74, of Boone, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1948 in Hagerstown, Maryland to James Henson and Zelma Lushbaugh. Terry proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Airforce where he met the love of his life, Pam, who was also proudly serving her country. He spent his life in the construction industry until he retired. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father, James Henson; step-father, Harrison Lushbaugh; brothers, James Henson, Jr., Dennis Henson, and Jeff Henson. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela Ann "Pam" Henson of Boone, NC; son, Jake Henson (Chelse Blume) & (Abby Leather) of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Audrey (Heather) Vandall-Henson; granddaughters, Ava Vandall-Henson and Ari Vandall-Henson all of Kannapolis, NC; mother, Zelma Lushbaugh; sister, Patty (William) Powley; and step-mother, Claudette Henson all of Hagerstown, MD. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
