I lived on Howard Edmisten Rd for a long time near Scott. He was always kind to me. I respected his love of farming and care for the earth. May he be surrounded joy and peace....I'm sure he is. Thank you Scott for being a good person.

Scott was always kind to me and could always make me laugh. But the last thing he said to me was "Keep on singing and playing gospel music." My deepest condolences to the family. Scott will surely be missed until we see him again. Love and prayers, Paula

Scott was such a sweet man. I would walk by his house a couple times a week and ask him questions about farming. He was my expert man and would get irritated at me for asking so many questions. But he gave me so much knowledge. We will miss see so much. Peace me with him.

I am so sorry to hear that Scott has passed away. I knew him in high school and always thought
he was an independent thinker, kind to others, and a valued member of the Sugar Grove community. In later years my father knew him better than I did and always spoke well of Scott. Scott was well known for growing potatoes on his farm and selling them locally. It's sad that we lost such a fine person too soon. He honored God with his life.

Scott was not just a relative but a very good friend. Nearly every time I came to the mountains to visit or get some potatoes we spent quite a while together talking about family, world affairs, and old cars. The sign for Scott’s Potato Farm will be missed. I will miss an enjoyable time with a good friend. May God Bless this family during this trying time.

Scott was a kind man. He loved his farm. He took good care of his ailing father. Scott had the sweetest smile. We always knew where to get potatoes from and always for a good price Most of all Scott was part of our church family and will be missed.

Even though we're relative newcomers, it will be hard to imagine Howard Edmisten Rd without Scott somewhere around at 'Comb's Corner'. Sometimes shy but always friendly with a smile and a mischievous giggle once he got chatting. He was almost always outside especially if he had work to do on his potatoes or orchard. We will miss him being around with his beloved blue Dodge truck. RIP Scott, my daily dog walks won't be the same.
