Every time I’d cut his hair he’d rip the clippers out of my hand and say “ I’ll do the mustache, has to be a perfect triangle “ writing this I can see him doing it !

Roberta and family,
On behalf of library staff and the library board, I wanted to express our condolences for the loss of your son, Michael.
Although I didn't know him, I heard about him on our trips to regional board meetings and your pride in all of your children is so evident. I hope that you and your family find comfort in all of the rich memories you had over the years. May God lift your family during this time.
We are thinking of you.

You were the best friend anyone could ever ask for. You were always there for me, you helped me through so much. There is truly no one that can compare to you. I’ll cherish our friendship forever and I’ll always regret not spending more time with you. Thank you for all you did and for who you were. It was not time for you to go. My dear friend, I love you.

Mikey will always be one of my favorite people. His smile, and laugh, and positive attitude were tremendous gifts to everyone who was lucky enough to experience them. Mikey was a tremendous teammate and a beloved friend. My heart is shattered with the knowledge that he has left this world. My sincere and deepest condolences to Mikey's family and friends. He will be missed sorely. May his memory burn bright in the hearts of all those who now mourn his loss. Until we meet again my friend, fly with the angels.

Mikey "Action" Jackson was my friend and it was just like yesterday. When I would see him tagging along with Cecil to Varsity Gym on a snow day. When he was young he was Arnold on steriods. When he was an adult he was just afunn6 and charming. I will miss asking Chess & Cecil about him as he always was into something. The Lord calls us when we are needed by him. Mikey will be add to the brightness of Heaven as he did at some point in our lives. My condolences go to his mother and family.

I consider myself fortunate to have been befriended by Mikey in high school. Our friendship cemented as he nicknamed me Celery- a nickname only Mikey called me. Mikey shared his smile with many- helping others to smile when they seemed to have lost their own. Mikey never hesitated to poke fun at me when I would make teenaged mistakes - he always kept it real, but always in a way where you still knew Mikey cared and would always be there- even in the harder times. We would continue to chat off and on - just checking in with each other from time to time. The world will not be quite as bright without him- but I know he’ll be looking down and still find ways to share his smile! Keeping his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers- Mikey sure made the most of his time here on earth- to all who were in his corner- thank you for helping to raise him-your work and efforts produced a great man!
