David and Winston
It is with much sorrow that we send our condolences to your family. Lee was one of our own children growing up. There are great memories of our times spent together on and off the baseball field. We are so grateful that our two boys met as two year olds and from that point, Where there was Lee, there was Andrew! Words cannot express our sadness. May GOD give you strength now an in the future. Kenny, Jennifer and entire family.

Winston, Dave, Britt and Easton, Jim and I were heartbroken to hear that Lee was taken from us all. In the years that we have come to know you all through our trips to Banner Elk and the Bayou, you have become so very special to us. My late mother absolutely adored Lee, and I know she rushed to greet him in Heaven. Our hearts are broken for you all, and for ourselves. I cannot imagine Banner Elk without Lee Ammann's sweet, quiet smile. Just two weeks ago, one of Jim's co-workers from the bank here in Walterboro was in the Bayou. He met Lee, told him where he was from, and Lee smiled and said, "Tell Jim and Kim hello for me!" Jim and I send all our love, our prayers, and our gratitude for the wonderful memories we have of Lee.
