Obituary of Annie Rose Allison

Annie Rose Grimes Allison of Boone passed on December 20, 2022. She was born on April 25, 1953 in Boone North Carolina to Edward and Annie Magnolia Grimes. Annie worked for Appalachian State University Food Services for 20+ years. She was a dedicated mother and a member of the Boone Mennonite Brethren Church choir. She is survived by son, Ray L.Turner and his fiancé Tabitha of Wilkesboro, North Carolina; and daughter, Rebecca Turner of Hickory, North Carolina; Two grandchildren, Dominique and Alexandra. brothers, William Grimes and Arthur Grimes of Boone; sisters, Mary McQueen of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Margaret Grimes of Hickory; Special nieces, Sharon Grimes and Seante' Bradford and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ms. Allison is proceeded in death by her father, Edward "Booner" Grimes; Mother, Annie Magnolia Grimes; brothers, Edward, Connie and Joseph Grimes. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Boone Mennonite Church, with visitation from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Service will be led by Pastor Mike Mathes.
