Dottie and I worked together as Home Health nurses in the late 1990's. She was wonderful to work with. She was sweet and funny and very hardworking. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to all of her family and friends.

Dottie was a kind and beautiful soul. She always had a smile that was contagious. I’ve known Phil and Dottie for 16 years now and they are like family. Phil I’m here for you and if you need anything. My heart breaks for you. Dottie loved you and appreciated everything you did for her and for all the love you gave her. You were so good to her, and was her prince and her your princess . Dottie will be missed so, so much. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you and the family.

Dottie was always kind and generous with me. When she and Phil hired me to care for Aunt Kate, Dottie gave me a bonus for coming in the early morning hours at Watauga Medical Center to check in on her. Much support and continued prayers for comfort in the days ahead for Phil, Jenny, Angie, and Matt. With sincerity, Lisa VG

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dottie. We spent many years together as friends during our school years in Mooresville, but unfortunately we lost track of each other until Facebook came along. By accident I “met” a granddaughter on marketplace who so kindly gave me Dotties contact number, but sadly I was never able to connect with her. But I will always remember that smile and kindness she so freely shared, and our online conversations. She was a beautiful soul that I know faced MS with strength and determination until the end. My prayers are with all the family as you face each day without her. God bless you all!
