Obituary of Tony Robert Dyson

Tony Robert Dyson passed on November 9, 2022 in Mountain City Tennessee. Born on December 14, 1963 in Taylorsville, North Carolina to Lee Roy Dyson and Betty Jo Church. Tony was raised by Chub Lawrence and Betty Jo in Watauga County. He was a hardworking man, a lifelong Christmas tree farmer and skilled carpenter, when Tony wasn't working he was the happiest when behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang. Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeff Dyson and sister, Angie Church Lawrence. He is survived by his son, Robert Masterson of Reno, Nevada; nephew, Dustin Dyson of Burnsville, North Carolina; nieces, Tiffany Dyson of West Jefferson, North Carolina and Sarah Dyson-Schweizer of Bremerton, WA. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Austin and Barnes Funeral Home in honor of Tony.
