Obituary of Addie Ellen Dotson

Addie Ellen "Squeak" Dotson, 60, passed away November 2, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys "Polly" Adams, born in Watauga County. She was a homemaker, and in her early years she was a member of the World Champion clogging team, Danl' Boone Cloggers. That gave her the opportunity to travel and see many amazing places. She was a fun, loving, free spirited woman who enjoyed the outdoors, camping and riding four-wheelers. Squeak also loved Nascar and watching football. Along with her parents, Squeak is proceeded in death by her husband, Warren Keith Dotson, her sister, Theresa "Toot" Dandy and also by special friend Thomas Hodges. She is survived by three daughters, Kortni Farthing and husband Shaun, Brandy Wallace and husband Bobby, and Lea Dotson. Two brothers, William Dandy and wife Diane, and Allen Adams. One step-sister, Beverly Church and husband Wayne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Dasia, Riley, Isaiah, Austin, Raylyn, Ensley, and Addy. A number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Services for Squeak, will be held Sunday November 6 at 2PM at the Austin and Barnes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the services starting at 1PM. A burial at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery will follow after the services. Austin and Barnes Funeral Home is serving the Dotson Family.
