Mary Elizabeth Tester Guy, age 79, of Guy Lane, Lenoir, passed away Thursday morning, October 27, 2022 at the Shaire Center in Lenoir. She liked to sew, cook and garden, but especially she enjoyed her flowers. Mary sewed for family, friends and co-workers until she began working as a seamstress at Broyhill Furniture until her retirement.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Brenda Bowman of Lenoir and Christi Warlick of Wilmington; sons, Robert Guy and wife, Sandra, of Lenoir and James Guy and wife, Tracey, of Bostic; granddaughters, Meredith Estes and husband, Zack, Mallory Guy, and Amber Warlick; great-grandchildren, Lilyanna and Roman Estes; and sisters, Martha Schauman of Lenoir and Vivian Barnes and husband, Bob, of Boone. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
