Mary Sheryl,
We are very sorry to hear of your father's passing and are thinking of you all during this difficult time. We remember your father coming down the street to introduce himself when we moved into the neighborhood. We didn't realize at the time that we were speaking with such an accomplished and successful individual. His legacy and impact on others will continue to live on. It been great meeting more of the Horrines over the years. With sympathy, The Bagleys

Dr Horine was a wonderful friend to my dad Charles McDaniel. For that matter his whole family were great friends since 1971. When my dad was in the nursing home for 3 months , Dr Horine visited my dad every single day. He was very much an encouragement to my parents in their last days. His positive spirit and wonderful smile was inspirational to my family. God bless you Dr Horine for being a friend no matter what! You will be missed.

I met Dr Horine when I worked for the athletic department at ASU in 1982. He was kind and gentle man full of encouragement to others. I later knew he and Mary from SECU from 1985 to 2015 we had long conversations and i enjoyed talking with them both. He will be greatly miss by all who knew him and may God give each one comfort.

Dr. Horine always left me in awe. I enjoyed being a part of his care in his later years. His will and determination inspired me and others. A favorite memory of mine, assisting him with his evening routine and asking “where did you grow up?” As he started at the beginning, I remember being thankful that he was the last on my list for the evening…. not because he had a long story to share but, rather, because he had a long, intriguing, incredible story. He lived an amazing story. I’m thankful he played a part in mine. Much love to his family ♥️ Emily Sheffield
