My heart is broken at the news of Cheryl's passing. Wayne had just reminded me of her passing. Cheryl was my very first girlfriend when I met her in the 7th grade at Eisenhower Jr, High. We first met in Band class. I would walk down to her house on Blodgett St. and watch TV with her and her parents. I had a party at our home and Cheryl was the only person who came. We danced to some records in our living room. I never quit loving her and we had our last dance at the last class reunion she attended. I was always so happy to see her, and she had the most beautiful smile, and the kindest heart. I had realizing her health issues, and I tried to call her several times, but never got through. I know she was a strong believer in Christ and will be with him in Heaven. I will miss her for all the remaining days of my life.

Cheryl was a beautiful, joyful, friendly and intelligent school friend. I was impressed by her caring for others and energy to embrace many activities. I didn’t know that Adelie Lynch, my real estate agent who helped me buy and sell properties in Roswell, was Cheryl’s sister. Adelie Lynch shares the same family joy for life as Cheryl. Thank you Cheryl for shining good energy with others. My sympathy and prayers for her family. May your spirit rest with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessings.

I'm having a good cry right now, remembering that last time I saw your face, missing hearing your sweet words of comfort and encouragement; but knowing i will again in the sweet by in by.

My sweet Aunt Cheryl, she was beautiful in everyway. She was kind, intelligent, loving, loyal, and she lived her life as the example of what a Christian should be.
My best memories are when she and the family would drive to NM to see us! She would just run to us to give big hugs to everyone, but she was especially excited about seeing us kids. When she came for Christmas, she would always read us theChristmas story from the Bible. She had such a nice reading voice and could captivate me anytime I sat beside her and she would read me a story. I have always looked up to her and had the utmost respect for her. The kindness shining from behind those big beautiful blue eyes. This is how I will remember her always. My heart, love, and prayers are with you Uncle Pat and Cousin Scott. She is flying with the angels now.

My sincerest sympathies to the Knight family and to all who loved my Aunt Cheryl. I will always have fond memories of time spent with her on holidays as a child growing up in Carlsbad, NM. She was always smiling and fun to be around. I can hear her laugh and will remember her words of kindness in that gentle southern accent. Praying for comfort and peace as you grieve her loss. Love and blessings, Shannon Moses

I first met Cheryl as my advisor and professor in education at Appalachian State University. I then got to know her more personally as the mother of my friend Scott. She and Pat hosted me over Christmas several times. Later I worked for her, Pat, and Scott at their pizza restaurant (then known as Buck's). There was never a time when she was not the most caring, kind, and genuine. May she find rest in heaven.
