On our yearly summer trips to Boone, the highlight for my wife Shari’s and I, was our visit with John and Anna. It was filled with beautiful stories, laugher and smiles while sitting on his front porch. An inspection and walk in the garden was a treat.
John’s eye twinkled when he spoke of his adventures and we, the lucky few, got to hear his life tales. The love in his voice for North Caroline, his family, and friends rang loudly.
I feel privileged the our paths crossed.
