Obituary of Clara Madelyn Norris

Mrs. Clara Winebarger Norris, age 84, of John Shell Road, Sugar Grove, passed away Tuesday morning, September 13, 2022 at The Foley Center in Blowing Rock. Born July 9, 1938 in Watauga County, she was the daughter of Thomas Grady and Pearl Miller Winebarger. She is survived by her daughters, Toni Littleton and husband, Bob, of Sugar Grove and Tracy Day and husband, Collin, of North Wilkesboro; son, Robert Norris, Jr. and wife, Heather, of Vilas; granddaughter, Emma Marie Norris of Vilas; sister-in-law, Pearl Winebarger of Boone; and brothers in law, Dudley Norris and wife, Judy, of Sugar Grove and Tommy Critcher of Boone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gene Norris; brother, Robert Clyde Winebarger; sister-in-law, Robbie Lynn Critcher; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ben and Eliza Norris. Funeral services for Clara Norris will be conducted Sunday afternoon, September 18, 2022 at 4 o'clock at Forest Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Thomas Brown. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4 o'clock, prior to services, at the church. Graveside services will follow at the family cemetery on John Shell Road.
