So sorry for your loss. Janice was special to me. I was a couple of grades ahead of her when she moved to Silverstone community, we were in Mable Elementary at the same time. I thought she was beautiful and I had such a teenage crush. She moved to Boone area and I lost touch. In December 1960 I was home on leave on my way to Germany in the Air Force. After school that day I met her at her Moms house. It snowed about a foot while I was there. After playing games and visiting. snow was to deep to get up the mountain so I had to follow a sand truck out. My lasting memory is a goodby kiss on the steps with snow falling all about. I am so sad to hear about Janice passing but I know she is happy in heaven.I have known Her for many years.I grew up with her and she was a very close friend to my sister Joyce.
I will keep the family and Janice in my prayers.

To Sheila and Family, I loved your Mom very much, we grew up together in Deep Gap. still kept in touch to this day. I know Janice is where she wanted to be, with her Lord and Tommy. My prayers are with you all !! We will see her again.
