Addie was my neighbor in the mountains, then we moved to Greensboro and again we were neighbors, I have fond memories of Addie and Joe, she was a great loving lady and family was her life, she didn’t believe in wasting anything, my funniest memory, we were having lunch with her, I had never had ice tea before and didn’t like it, she told me to drink all of it and I would like it, to this day I don’t like ice tea. Addie rest in Gods loving arms, Lord be with the family and carry them through this sad time. Love to all

I’m sad to see this but her memories make me smile. Jim and I loved her and Joe and loved being at their house and in the garden. Boy you didn’t slow down on the garden work or Addie would let you know it. Rest well you really deserve it. Much love and prayers to the family!

Aunt Addie what a blessing you have been to me. You always put your family first! We had good times coming to Greensboro and spending weekends with you. You always enjoyed shopping and in your younger days would be almost in the store before we got out of the car. One of your favorite places to eat was K&W Cafeteria! We are sad to say goodbye for now but have much comfort in knowing you are in your heavenly home free from pain. I love you very much and was blessed to have aunts in my life I considered as second moms. Rest well good and faithful servant of Christ!
Much Love,
Mary Ann
