Harry was always a close friend from the first day I worked with him at Casselberry Fire Department in Florida.We worked together several years before I moved on to Orange County Fire Rescue. Harry was always a family first kind on guy. At work, he would always know how to navigate the red tape, and take care of his crew. we humped many rolls of hose together and there was never anyone else whom I would have backing me up than Harry.Its not very ofter that you can honor a man for what he does on a regular day to day adventure. He was so proud to hear my son was a Lt. with the San Francisco Fire Dept, he always loved the kids! My heart goes out to his family, and to the crew he worked with in Banner Elk~Thanks for always having my back, and when we meet again, I'll back you up going into anything.
