Dear Doug and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you today. Rachel was a wonderful, warm, and compassionate individual, a true lady in the very best sense of the word. As you mourn her passing, may you find comfort in both your many memories and in your strong faith, knowing for certain that she is whole again. (Romans 8:38-39)
Dear Sterrett Family,
We are sorry to hear of Rachel's passing, and will be keeping you all in our prayers. I remember Rachel's warm smile and jolly personality as we enjoyed family reunions in Lexington as well as her work in Shenandoah Presbytery. She was a blessed, quite soul.

I remember when we met on Howard Street. Our spirits connected and I fell in love with how she shared God’s love. It truly emitted from inside and lit up the area where she was. My most favorite thing ever was when Pastor Doug would preach and she humbly read the scripture from the back of the sanctuary. I find comfort and peace knowing she is perfect and whole in the arms of the Lord. I send so much love.

Love and prayers! Ms. Rachel was a patient in the dental office I worked at in Boone. I just fell in love with both Mr. and Mrs. Sterrett. The love and care that Mr. Sterrett provided for his wife was incredible and such a blessing to witness. RIP Ms. Rachel, you were such a lovely person!

I can remember the first time I met Rachel. She told me that I looked like a friend of hers and now she had two pretty friends. Who could have not loved her?
