Treva and I were friends for more than 30 years. Together we weathered difficult times, endured trying times, and celebrated joyful times. Her friendship blessed my life in so many ways and will always be an enduring and cherished memory. As the poet Mya Angelou wrote, “Nobody can ever take a friend’s place—nobody.” Treva, you will be greatly missed.
