Betty, I am so sorry to hear of J. C. passing. I only heard about it today. I always had great respect for J. C. He was such a kind and friendly person in school. I always loved seeing both of you at our class reunions at Cove Creek. It is sad that we haven't been able to have a reunion in quite awhile. Hope you are doing well. Pray the Lord will be with you and the family and help you through this trying time. Prayers for peace and comfort.

I have known J.C. for over 50 years, ever since he was a working Pastor in Boone and I can truthfully say he is one person that I have never heard an unkind word said about him. He will be missed but we all know where he is at, and knowing J.C., he's probally 'dancing with Jesus' right now. I will miss him too. The family is in Linda and My prayers and may God be with all of you during this time.

J.C. and I have been friends for more than 50 years after our paths crossed at Youth Camp (CCYC). I followed his ministry at Fords Branch, KY. From the day we met, J.C., Betty, Jeff and Joey became instant family. My wife and I have wonderful memories of J.C. during his numerous revivals at the Sharondale Church of Christ. His loving presentations of the Gospel made J.C. one of our all-time favorite evangelists. "The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance." Ps. 112:6
Love, Bob & Betty Werntz

Well,Poopsie, my heart is broken that God has called you to His heavenly home and we are left behind. But, this I know - you left this world a better place! Your commitment to God was displayed in your talk and your walk. What a legacy you have left for your family and friends to follow. I will miss your smile and the fun times we had (especially the ones at Jeff’s expense). I am glad I had the privilege and honor of being your friend. With much love, Rowena

We have many fond memories of J.C. and his family, especially when we worked with him at church camp in Vansant, Va. He was a true man of God and will be missed by all who knew him. His earthly trials are over and he is enjoying heaven and getting reacquainted with his dear departed son, as well as seeing his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ and all those who, like J.C., have finished their race to the end.

Such a great man, always full of laughter. We always enjoyed sneaking goodies in his car to surprise him when he would leave his car at our house.
We love you, Anderson Family!
