David and Barbara,
Your daughter’s obituary was beautifully written. It truly captured the spirit of a remarkable lady. May her memory be a blessing to you all.
Since I retired and left the snowy winters, I’m out of touch, so I apologize for not acknowledging your daughter’s death in a timely manner.
I had a brother who died before my mom. She always saiid losing a child was the hardest thing she had to live through. I believe that is true, and my heart goes out to you both. Please know that I care and will lift you up in my prayers.

Dear David, Barbara, and Madison
This is Hannah Woodcock/Barbour -- I ran cross country with dear Madison in high school at Watauga. I was so shocked and heartbroken to hear of Elizabeth's passing. Words are weak, but I am so, so sorry. I have nothing but fond memories of Elizabeth -- though I knew her more as "Mrs. Harman" at the time. I remember how kind and fun loving she was, and as a fellow animal lover, I felt a special connection with her and Madison. I will be praying constantly that God comforts you, brings you all peace beyond understanding, and even joy for the wonderful life she lived and incredible impact she had on all those she touched. Love, Hannah

Dave and Barbara.
I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth passing. I know that your hearts are broken. I have not seen her in years but I do remember her being at Goodwin Weavers as a young teenager. She was always smiling and happy. As a matter of fact she brought a puppy she had found at the dumpster to the shop and I ended up taking him home. We kept him for 17 years. Her being an animal lover I think she recognized me as one too. I will keep your family in my prayers. Cherish all of the wonderful memories you have made as a family.
Love to all!
