Sarah Lynn was such a beautiful, fun, and caring soul. An example of her care was when she sat in the waiting room for me to have surgery, knowing that it would have been a much longer wait if malignancy had been found. We shared many social moments together since I came to Boone in 1967, through music department connections. We were also long-time fellow members of 1st Presbyterian, where she volunteered much of her time and I was organist. My prayers and empathy for her family, since there's nothing quite like losing a Mom. From Psalm 46:10---"The Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help".
