Obituary of Phillip Patrick Clark

Phillip Patrick Clark, 50, of Vilas, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 4th after a lengthy illness. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida March 17, 1971 to Phillip G. and Victoria Clark. Phil never knew a stranger. If you knew him, you couldn't help but love him. He spent his working years in customer service. He was an avid sports fan. His favorites were Alabama Crimson Tide, New York Yankees and The Green Bay Packers. He also loved wrestling and could tell you anything you wanted to know about it. He was a proud graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Neeta Clark, and his fur baby Enzo, of Vilas, his mother, Victoria Clark of Chattanooga, TN, his father and step mother, Phillip G. and Loretta Clark, of Decatur, Alabama, his sister Kim Young and her husband, Tye, of Chattanooga, TN, and his brother Jason Clark and his wife, DeShanna, of Hartselle, Alabama. He is also survived by 3 step brothers, Philip Sanders and wife, Maria, of Decatur, Alabama, Kent Sanders and his wife, Ashley, of Decatur, Alabama and Kevin Sanders and his wife, Leannda, of Story City, Iowa. Several Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was proceeded in death by his father and mother in law, Lester and Barbara Johnson of Vilas, and his very best friend, Brandon Stedham of Alabama. A celebration of Phil's life will be held Friday evening, December 17th at 6pm at Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone, NC. Pastor Scott Andrews will officiate. The family will accept friends one hour prior to the services from 5:00 p.m.-6:00p.m. Due to Covid, please wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Donations can be made to the Watauga County Animal Shelter in Boone, NC One of the hardest things I have had to do...... thank you for all you are doing for us.
