Mrs. Earlene Main Williams, age 83, of Zionville, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Watauga Medical Center. Born August 15, 1938 in Watauga County, she was a daughter of the late Earl Harmon Main and Annie Lou Tester Main. Earlene was a homemaker and a long time faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church. Earlene loved her church and her church family.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank Williams, one son, Curtis Williams and wife Jo of Zionville, two sisters, Betty Main Townsend and husband Larry of Banner Elk and Margaret Main Cable and husband Sanford of Sugar Grove, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Earlene was preceded in death by one sister, Emogene Main Miller and one brother, Glenn Hal Main, and four nieces, Pamela and Patina Main, Rebecca Miller and Leigh Ann Cable.
Services for Earlene Main Williams will be private.
The body will lie in repose at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, November 11, 2021 from noon until 5 pm for those who wish to pay their respects.
