Obituary of James Kenneth Miller

Mr. James Kenneth "Kenny" Miller, age 70, of Fleetwood, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Watauga Medical Center. Born April 14, 1951 in Ashe County, he was a son of the late James Aaron and Othel Payne Miller. Kenny was an active member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from the furniture industry. In his retirement Kenny worked doing landscaping and mowing, meeting new friends along the way. He also enjoyed fishing, and going to flea markets. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Baldwin Miller, one son, James Miller of Deep Gap, two sisters, Pauline Norris and husband Bobby and Chris Courier and husband Chuck all of Statesville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Anne Burch. Funeral services for Kenny Miller will be conducted Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2 PM at Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
