If there’s one thing that is for certain, Maxine had a beautiful, loving family that served her in her last months with ceaseless care. She knew she was loved and was able to stay at home and pass from this life to the next surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. What a wonderful gift. I’m so proud of all the Trivette and Hicks families for your dignity and am praying for all of you during this bitter sweet time. Much love, especially, to Angie. You have been a rock. I hope you all continue to enjoy beautiful memories of your mother and grandmother. The hurt you feel now will lesson over time and those memories will be like treasures.

One lesson Maxine taught me was to be there for your friends. I watched as my Auntie and Maxine's friendship grew and grew. I can recount the many many times Maxine was there to help with canning, stringing beans, home made apple sauce, the list goes on. And my Auntie loved taking charter buses for 3,4 day trips and who do you think took every trip with her, Yes, her life long friend, Maxine. So, Maxine help teach me how to be the best friend I can. Thank you Maxine and and you will be missed

Dear Angela, Floyd, Michael, Al, Wendy, and Sarah, I want each of you to know what a special lady and faithful friend dear Maxine has been to me. I grew up knowing her as my Sunday School teacher, and as the years went by she was always an encourager to me. Any time I would see her she always had kind words to say and greeted me with a smile. Our loss is heaven’s gain, but we will see her in Glory some day! She is there celebrating with loved ones gone on. May you take comfort in knowing she awaits you in the Eternal home above. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Love and prayers. Connie Trivette
