We hadn't lived in the area long and I was learning to ride my motorcycle. Unfortunately, I fell over in front of Jerry's home. He saw my stress and came to be sure I was ok. I was so happy that we have concerned neighbors and had moved into a good neighborhood. I hadn't heard his bike in a long while and recently came upon his obituary. I wish we had the opportunity to get to know him better. From reading his condolence remarks I'm sure he was a good man. My brief encounter with him and the short conversation we had will be remembered. Thank you Jerry.

Jerry Wayne, I really appreciate the way you always treated me, always with respect and a friendly smile. We always had a good time shooting pool at the Big G.
