I just got the news of Hal’s passing today. I’m so saddened that the world lost such a fine man. He was so good to me when I was a kid. Often driving numerous miles out of his way to pick me up to play music, taking me to festivals or any other thing he thought would help me along. He built my parents house when I was twelve years old and during that time we really connected. I lost track of Hal during my teens but I never forgot him and often spoke of him to friends and family. I will never forget the times we shared and will sure look forward to seeing him again one day. RIP Hal

Our deepest condolences to Billie and all the family. Hal was a person we could always call on for any repairs our old house needed. If he couldn't fix it, he would build a new piece to take its place. I am blessed to have known such a fine man. He will be missed. Sandy and I have fond memories of Hal and Earl working on our first house and later Hal.
Billie and all the children and family my heart breaks for all of you. Prayers and love to each and every one of you with the loss of the most precious father that is loved beyond measure. I never met Hal in person but what I know of him by talking to him he was a wonderful person if only I had known him better I would have been blessed. Billie and family I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget meeting you all in the waiting room at Frye Regional Medical Center when my mother had her open heart surgery in 2018 and Hal just had his too. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I wasn't able to ever met Hal. But have talked to him over the phone. I became close to Billie over the years, which brought me close to Hal. He was a very Good Christian and family man. He Loved Billie with every being of his soul. He will be missed.
I have such good memories when we would visit when I was young and you would play the guitar and we would all sit around and sing. Rest In Peace my friend.
