I first met Martha when I came to visit her neighbour Brenda. She volunteered to drive the two of us along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had such a happy time. It was like being with my own mother. Over the years she would make me some pecan pralines to be included as a gift for Christmas. I would always send her a calendar from England as I knew how much she would have loved to have visited. I treasure those happy times, filled with laughter. I am so thankful that I had the pleasure of her friendship. Rest in Peace dear Martha xx
